      Balance, restraint and deep respect for the natural expression of the vine. Made family since 1981. Our Chardonnay grapevines thrive on the steep, foggy hillsides of weathered shale and sandstone in northern Carneros. A few days of barrel fermentation followed by 9 months of sur lie aging in concrete yields a wine that is intensely mineral, stony and bright. - JW.
